While waiting on the shop manual (1990 VFR750).....

    What are the valve settings?

    What are the float settings?

What is the stock main jet number? Mine are #130 which seems odd to me, but then my experience is with the '86-87 VFRs.

    Thanks, Joe in WI

Look at the thread linked in my signature "dumped california cams" and there are images of the factory service manual pages showing your #130 main jet and the cam to valve clearances.

Thanks for the link and the dyno information -- very interesting.

I'll need a few parts! This is a project I recently rescued. I'll be in touch, or you can get together a list of stuff you have. For now I could use some left side plastics (upper & mid), tail light assembly, windscreen, fuel tank mounting hardware (front & rear), petcock and seat latch mechanism.

I'm good on the airbox. How 'bout a working R/R and horn? Post a pic (or send to joe.nelson (at) ymail.com) of the tail light, if you have.
