Well Fox shock has been at Jamies, but we are waiting for a donor from Illinois to arrive for reservoir attachment. Getting antsy.

he is waiting for a reservoir tip to arrive so Jamie can stick it......... to the hose.... sounds like it got sheared bad enough that the original one won't work.... but that's just my guess...

Well the ENTIRE reservoir was sheared off 6" up the cable. Found a donor off a CBR in Illinois and the guy finally texted me yesterday saying he was shipping it out. The CBR unit isn't correct length for the F2 so Jamie's gonna use this reservoir and attach it to my main body giving me a whole unit. Theses shocks are practically impossible to find. Used a Craigslist finder to find this one.

Gotcha, Fox stuff is hard to find. For future reference, I got all my parts here. 2.0 refers to the diameter, that's what mine is, probably yours as well. .625 is the shaft size. They have just about everything you'd need for shock parts. Might beat having to find a donor again someday. I may end up getting a longer res line for mine.

The parts will fit as long as the dimensions are the same. Like I said, mine is a 2.0 with a .625 shaft so all the o-rings, seals, wear bands, etc will fit. Same goes for the res.,res end caps, floating pistons, hoses, valving, pistons, etc. They got my stuff out pretty quick and there's even a rebuild vid on there that helped. Just thought I'd throw it out there if anyone needed it.

I mounted the shock res on my 750 like this. The AMA race bikes back in the day were set up the same way. View attachment 16454
