I'm more of a space man type (sport) outfit. I don't get the safari hunter outfits, look strange IMO. So far I haven't seen any pirates on VFR's, thank goodness.

Flip-flops and a tank top. I normally don't wear gloves either, since I can feel the bike better. But I always wear a helmet.

    New guy humor, haha.

I personally wear leather most of the year, both jacket and chaps/pants along with calf high boots and full finger gloves. Hotter days get a mesh jacket and colder gets oversuit and electrics. AND ALWAYS A FULL FACE

I make sure I dress BEFORE I get on the bike it seems too risky to try to do it while riding, kind of like texting when cruising at 100 mph on the freeway.......

Around town/errands: Textile jacket, thick Carhart jeans, polished blk jungle/combat boots, glove choice is always leather but which length depends on the weather.

Riding Hard: 2pc leather blk & grey zip together suit (BILT/Cycle-Gear) with matching gloves, Dainese calf high race boots, and when I think I might need it: ICON hard flex plate FIELD ARMOR vest. US Military issue snivel gear & glove inserts when it's damn cold.

Inclement Weather & On Base: F'n lame-ass reflective vest...

I usually try to dress at home. It's much easier than while riding.

Those reflective vests come up quite a bit by the buggers at our Roads & traffic authority (state government revenue raisers) about being made compulsory for all riders.
May as well have someone run in front of the bike with a red flag. So are they compulsory there? Got given an El cheapo one when I got my bike from the dealership, so add that to the list: 2 helmets - 2 leather Jackets (1 armored) - leather pants (armored) -Textile Jackets & pants (armored)- Sportex summer jacket (armored) - 2 pair Rossi(tter) motorcycle boots (long & short) - 3 pair of gloves (summer/rain/ & f**king freezing) - pair quilted waterproof pants - 1 pair of Draggin jeans (Kevlar weave).

IMO we dress much the same anywhere depending on the weather. The major exception is that in the US, All labels must be on the outside and in plain view. This is known as the Minnie Pearl syndrome.

There is a movement among Harleydoods to include price tags that is gaining momentum.

Joe Rocket Speedmaster pants/jacket, Joe Rocket mesh gloves and Gaerne boots.

On military bases, yes. (Marines even have to wear stupid reflective belts when they're doing PT.)

Full face helmet, riding gloves, red wing loggers (I wear these everywhere anyway), and tourmaster leather jacket EVERY TIME I get on the horse. Sweat is cheaper than blood, a philosophy most of the people I know who ride don't seem to share, unfortunately. I really should invest in a pair of riding pants one of these days too, I've been cheating a bit with a couple pairs of Duluth trading fire hose jeans for abrasion resistance. No armor though :/.
