tank protector film

Hey, so I looked but I couldn't really find and pre-cut stuff online... maybe i just missed it? Anyway, I got a good deal on a roll of clear .8mm film on ebay and plan on doing my own for the tank and the tail. I'll probably start working on it tomorrow. I have way more film than I need, the roll was surplus from a shop reducing inventory 24" x 20', so I guess I got plenty if I make a mistake or two.

I'll let yous know how it goes.

 

So far, so bad. Compound curves make it hard to get the patterns right.

That's the idea, only clear. I'm going to have to wait until it warms up a little to work on it though...45 is a little too cold.

Yep, thats the place i bought mine. Bought film for the Gen6 headlight and the tank.

Its a bitch to get to fit nicely. Have not done the tank yet, but will be doing it this weekend before this weekends track day. (leather is hard on the paint)
