The few. The proud. The ones who cannibalize more bikes than everyone else. Report in!

I just realized that my bike is 2nd gen, and there's a thread for that already. Silly me. Let's see what you've got, anyways!

Quick note, all years of the 500 Interceptor are considered 'First Gen' Honda V4s.

There are significant differences between the '84/'85 compared to the '86, but this is a discussion for another thread.

Currently an '86 VF1000R owner, but I also bought a brand new VF750F Interceptor in 1983. Early adopter of the Honda V4 I guess, and it's still in my blood!

Don't have a digital pic of the VF750F handy, but it was the red one with black cast wheels like above. I had a seat cowl, and Lockhart full lowers in matching candy red red with white & blue stripes. HRC stickers on the upper cowl and SuperTrapp slip-ons. Loved that bike, but got an '86 VFR when they came out. Loved that bike too...

The R's are sort of the missing link between the 2 gens. Cam gear drive separates them from the 1st gens but steel frames separates them from the 2nd. So since there's no real Gen 1.5, they get roped into the 1st gens...I kinda like it that way.

    Consider me counted.

invisible cities is right that all VF500F model years would be considered a 1st Gen. Therefore, I am reporting in:

Also, hopit88 has a good argument for the VF1000R to be considered a 1st Gen, so I'll report in again:

Thanks, that is indeed me and if you viewed them then you got your answer to how much is still stock.

Hard to tell from a picture if a chain is too tight but it's right on the money. Probably an optical illusion.

    That is sharp!
