1985 rf100r twin headlight

Hey all, just bought what appears to be a 1985 RF100R. Got it off ebay here in Florida. Merrit Island is where the bike is at for now. Will post pics soon, the bike has twin headlights like an RE, but I am almost sure it's an american bike. Runs real well, has 17,600 some odd miles showing and it looks about right. Used to race against Interceptors back in the day in Colorado, brings back a lot of great memories.

I too just picked up a lovely '85 VF1000R (900 cc's bigger than yours, lol) and it's definitely from the US but the previous owner did the dual lamp mod when restoring it (also carb'd and tuned to European spec.).

New enough to me that I don't know but, there must be a nomenclature in the VIN that denotes where it's from no?

Not sure I could be more infatuated with a machine at the moment...

Great idea, Man...My weekend juants often have me close to the Ontario/New York border anyways! Hell, you could even blaze up to Ottawa some time as a buddy of mine used to who was stationed outta Fort Drum.
