For someone who resides in Chilliwack, rides looking like the white knight, paid for his last bike with three dollar bills and is now looking for fairy pictures......I'd say you might want to consider alternative....nylon nuts....
Any instructions as to installation would, I'm sure be "handled" galdly by Badbilly...LOL and supervised by Knife....he'd be the guy pokin' you in the ribs.....sayin'....d'ya get it......

Oh lighten up!!!! It too is a joke.....It's supposed to be a whacky forum.........

Now see, vfr2gay2, if your original response was as helpful and informative the first time someone asked, we might have a completely different relationship. Instead, while being very helpful to an inquisitive member granted, you have to poke fingers at people who called you out for being a prick the first time. Ok, I'll do it, here's an interwebz handshake just for you cause you seem to have douched most of the sand from your va jay jay, and the whole forum is better for it. Well, maybe not BB, he's now lost a comrade.................................

I've read my first repsonse and for the life of me I don't see what would promt a reply from anyone that would resemble the one you contributed. RTFM in my neck of the woods is a very common bit of advice. It was not directed to you nor meant in any way to ruffle any feathers. With the skin needed to absorb some of the comments let loose from some on this site my response was very tame. Oh, and further to your request about.... half your life in a shop etc......at 67 years of age I've owned shops longer than you been old enough to walk into and fired more asses out the door if they had an attitude near yours regarding shop supplies and customers property and reading a manual. But now I see you are using Sir more often and you are even looking at manuals like a good little worky I might consider you for the wash bay.....Oh relax, I'm just messin' with ya....I was just trollin' and for such a small fish you bite good donkey!!!

From that last one, Metallican and Spike may be in the closet playing with thier clips and just not paying full attention.

The best advise I can give you is spend a rediculous price for OEM, but better yet go here:

    --BOLT Motorcycle Hardware--

But you need to do just a little homework and measure up one of your fasteners you still have and compare them with the specs posted on this site for the right one. Bolt sells you a package of 10 for the price you pay for one OEM. As my OEM are wearing out or breaking, I am replacing them with these.

I use the M6 but mine is a 6th gen. They are a bit tight in some points, especially the underneath of the faring but work very well everywhere else. This is a good source for Crush Washers for your oil change plug. Again, about $5.00 for ten vs $4.50 for one OEM from the dealership

Go to the local garage and ask to borrow a m6 bolt and an m8 bolt. The bolt that fits in the hole without tons of slop is the size you need.
