For those of you who have a 2007 Tri-Color on order, have you taken delivery yet and if not, what is the delivery date that your dealer is giving you?

I ordered mine back in mid-October. I was told that it would be in by mid-February. Now I'm being told that it will be mid-March. Since I know that others on this site have already taken delivery and that I'm now seeing them listed on eBay as available dealer stock, I'm beginning to wonder if I'm getting the run around.

I do have a receipt for the deposit that I put down, but nothing that says what it is for. Also, I have no confirmation that the bike was even ordered. Are others also waiting, or am I the only one? Is it possible that my dealer was telling me that he could get me one but maybe is having trouble?

They're out there. Drive by one at the local honda shop every day doing to work...

Call around, find one in stock, and get your deposit back.

Sounds like your dealer is jerking you around. The RWB's have been available for more than a month now. They probably didn't order one, for whatever reason, so they are waiting on the next round of dealer allocations. IF they were really trying to help you out, they would run a dealer locator and find one in the area and go get it or have it delivered.
We have one in our showroom. If you are on the east coast, delivery charges are not that bad. I sold our red '07 VFR for pretty cheap, so I can likely get you a great deal on it.

Yep one here on the floor too. Been there like 2 plus weeks, really would have thought it would have been gone by now, every time I look at it I go Hmmm if only it had different suspension, better brakes, it's looking pretty nice....

We've only had ours for a day. The red one lasted about 2.5 weeks. We had an FJR come in and it lasted about 3 hours.
Maybe some day Honda will give us what we want !

So, it does sound like that if my bike was actually ordered back in October, then I'd have it by now. Also, I'm not hearing from anybody out there who ordered one who is still waiting for it, like myself. It does seem like my dealer isn't being totally honest about things.

There are 3 or 4 Honda dealers within a 35 mile radius from here (Central NY), so I think I'll start making calls during the week to see if there are any available. If there are, then I'll call my dealer to get the REAL story. I'll keep you all posted. Thanks for the feedback.

Bought mine in December, 2 of the 3 dealers had one on the floor, one had a serial# 000075, mine, 000023, wonder where the first 22 went.
Good luck on the search in your area, you won't be disapointed

Well, here's an update. I've called 9 dealers within a 50 mile square radius of where I live. Not one of them has an '07 tri-color in stock and only two of them said they have one on order. For the two that have them on order, they both said that they won't be in until mid to late March.

So what I believe to be the case is that my dealer did kind of hose me by stalling on committing on a delivery date because he wanted to save the freight charge and have the bike come in with his spring order. I have no other explanation. Like I said, I ordered the bike back in October. I guess I'll have to hang in there for 3 more weeks and if it isn't in, then I will call the other two dealers back and give one of them my business.

We just got one in yesterday. Its sitting on the floor, waiting for someone to give it a good home. Metuchen is somewhat far from Syracuse, but if you wish, you can call our dealership and see if they can arrange it to get shipped, as I know we have done delivery to Staten Island and Connecticut...

    Here is the number:
    732 906 9292
Ask for Ray. He is the Sales Manager and the man to talk to.

    Hope this helps.

I ordered mine in November and I don't want to hear from them until April..... They told me it may be mid March. Its still early, I think your bike is in the same allocation for Spring like mine is. Its fine with me, my other bike is sitting in the garage collecting dust until the sand is cleared off of the roads and the temp gets above 40. Can't do much but stare at it until then.....

OK. I'm now starting to feel a little better about things. You're the first person to respond who ordered one but had not yet taken delivery. I know a lot of others have gotten their bikes and my dealer has given me a firm delivery date of March 8th. I ordered back in October! I'm OK with that as long as it is actually coming. I was starting to think that he wasn't being totally honest about things.

Mine is in..... It came in over the weekend and is is the showroom now. They have another one close behind. You should be getting the call soon. I'm going to go check it out tomorrow, it will be a balmy 3 degrees so I won't be doing much other than looking at it.

The dealer is telling me March 8th, so he's getting a call on the 9th. If he doesn't have it, then I may look elsewhere. Let us know when you take delivery.

I went in today to check it out. I am having the passenger grab handles left aside and switching the exhaust when it gets pdi'd. Two came in at once so I get to take the one still in the crate. Trading in the CBR so I have to bring it in on my day off next week..... They are closed on Sundays so I have to wait til next Tuesday at the earliest to take delivery. You will probably get yours in time.... The shipments are in the country. It really is better in person. Anybody have any reccomendations for exhaust? I was thinking about Staintune.....

They all seem better 'in person' I think. From what I can tell from others' comments, you can't go wrong with staintunes. Everyone I have ever read a comment from about them, loves them.
