Good write up on Rossi. I think the number one reason why he is in a slump is because
of his shoulder injury. As a former racer and also, at the moment, recuperating from a 50%
shoulder replacement (titanium) I could not imagine racing for at least a year after
surgery, maybe 2 years.

I have experienced many injuries and surgeries but shoulders seem to be in a
special "pain locker." On a scale of 0-10, shoulder surgery pain is a 12!

I don't know how Rossi can do as well as he does.

Agreed, it seems that Rossi is a beast to be able to deal with the shoulder and continue to compete.

Heck, my legs cramp up when I ride and it sorta freaks me out while Im on Public roads doing +15...

That's the qualifying order and unless someone falls off I'd imagine that will be the podium order as well. Rossi looks totally lost.

A bit of a surprise here what with Iannone not giving himself an entire pack to sort through while he eats his tires up and has little left late. This race should be nuts especially early on. The difference between pole and second was one one-thousandth. Noticed lots of riders having trouble with turns one and two.

 

Marquez punk'd Corsi on the last lap to take pole......Bradl having tough weekend, first time off the front row all year. Superglue out...Cardenas also down in qualifying.

Moto GP Indi, no spoiler

Moto GP Indi highlight, after a terrible start a great ride was had by Spies including passing his team mate Lorenzo like he was nothing.

Comcast is catching some serious heat because I don't get the speed channel...

 

Must be your package, I've got Comcast, and I have Speed, in HD... Don't have Speed2 though, and wish I did, they seem to show a lot of the lower motoracing classes...

 

Listening to all the Euro whining concerning the quality of the track surface was hilarious, there were a few folks that didn't seem to be all that bothered with it....the three guys on the box for example. I would like nothing better than to see Stoner take the title at Philip Island.

Ducati 1.0, 1.1, 1.11, 1.12, 1.1DONE. Rossibabble.

I gotta give it up for Alvaro Bautista, great race, kept in on 2 and finished a well deserved 6th. Hector Barbera with a move that even Marco Simoncelli wouldn't try.

It's been great to see Stoner methodically and professionally pound the field, no lame after race theatrics, no dance moves, all business...Old School, it never goes out of style (that was for Branscomb).

Marquez. Where are all the naysayers now? They must be writing get well cards to Superglue.....Only 28 points back now and rolling with momentum.

I would agree with you, except Stoner was one of the biggest whiners about the surface; even though he obviously rode well on it... Even after winning, he was still complaining...

I do think he'll win the championship though; and I am glad for him.

 

I forgot to mention Maverick Vinales, another great ride to 2nd. 2nd in the championship is not that far away from his grasp. Paris must be snooting another lineal in celebration!
