Just got a new problem. I had my top triple clamp powder coated and when it came back the Honda logo has gone and there is a square shaped indent where it was. What gives guys? Is the logo a separate part?

Yes,the Honda part number is 86150-MN8-300. It's costs about $13.00.

Have contacted the powder coating firm. They say one of the team must have removed when stripping prior to powder coating. Should be able to find it.

Where is a good place to get parts? Most local dealers carry very little and send overseas for stuff. I might as well do that myself.

Finally the parts fische would be a good resource so a link would be really appreciated.

I usually use my local Honda dealer website for parts fiche info but there are plenty more websites out there Don. Ron Ayers and BikeBandit are just two of the places out on the web where you can find OEM parts.

Both websites give you full access to the Honda parts fiche, however Ron Ayers lists the actual Honda part numbers whereas BikeBandit lists their own proprietary part numbers.

One thing I've found that you'll want to keep in mind about Honda OEM part numbers is that Honda continually updates their part number lists. A part number that you found last month may have a completely different part number next month,in which case the old part number will simply update to the new one.
