I'm surprised you have a camera that doesn't use film.

OK... You want black and white?
    Photoshop takes care of that.

Now without the GOLD anodizing does it seem like it is worth $566.00 of your hard earned dollars?
How many hours would you have to work to afford those?

I think this is the point.

I hope I am not speaking out of turn, as you didn't post the manufacturer, but for something custom made with top quality materials and produced for a fair labor rate you are going to have to order up.

To be honest I am a bit surprised as I have read many of your posts lamenting the fact that many items are being made to inferior specifications. I agree with you on this point but at the same time I don't get a bee in my bonnet when I see a fabricator like Pazzo (per your lever lament) asking what I think is a fair price for their product.

    Off the soap box now.

$566.00 for Constructors Racing Group Gold anodized rearsets is kinda steep. :twitch:

That's why I went with the Sato Racing Gold anodized rearsets, they were only $545.00.

Damn I'm glad I went with the cheapies! :drum:

Go back and read my post.
I did not say anything about the quality.
But it is just crazy as far as I am concerned to pay that much for foot pegs.
If it was a car part or snowmobile part it would be 1/3 that price.

    The thread is not pointless.
I just do not like seeing kids work all summer because they think they need this stuff.
I know some kids who work all summer just to pay for the insurance on their sport bikes.
They they think they have to have carbon garbage can mufflers for $700 or more, and these anodized
    aluminum parts.
    It just kills the fun.

Respectfully, this isn't an apples to apples comparison.

The rear-sets you are listing above are a lower price point for a reason - to put it politely, these ain't in the same ballpark as the Satos.

The time spent on the aesthetic design and the time involved in machining the Sato rear-sets, for example, are part of their higher price point.

My take on this is that it is somewhat disrespectful (no offense to you DB) to say that Pazzo, CRG or my new favorite, Sato are overpriced and not worth it. They most certainly are worth the price and I am glad to see these companies are prospering.

BTW Italy had to just be bailed out by the world banks.
So maybe they need to make some items the broke Americans and others CAN afford.LOL
