Bought my first VFR last week, 27k on her, hope to add a lot more. I've put on around 500 miles since I got her and I've probably had a smile on my face the whole time. It just rides so nice and feels so smooth doing it. She needs some TLC, which is my plan for the winter, repair some of the defects and maybe some upgrades in some areas.

Thanks, what part of the state do you ride around in?

To be honest, I'm not sure what the yosh sounds like, can't hear it that much while I'm riding it.

Pulled the battery last weekend, I'm going to let her hibernate for the winter. Finished with about 34.5k miles, so around 7500 miles in 3+ months.

Already picked up some Givi side cases to make commuting easier and was thinking some helibars to make the ride a tad more comfortable on long rides.

Still excited about having bought the bike. Should have got into riding much sooner than I did. d'oh

Good to hear! Riding is one of those things that set you free just like a drug but with wheels your hooked now!

i don't doubt that it would be a great time, getting there and being there, but having just started a new job, the time away from work isn't possible, 2013 though i plan on taking a long trip
