I tried to figure out the operations of that throttle locker, but It seems too strange to me.
It seems lean on the break lever when need to fix the throttle. How to adjust, I don't know.

    Or just simply like this:

There are two more things you can think of for your throttle control.

    1. Throttle locker (cruise control): that help you to fix the throttle (and of course the bike speed) for a long and stable ride. May be the one you just posted.

And here is the one I have used for my Hornet 919:

    It operates well.

    2. Throttle rocker (supporter): it help your wrist to have some relax while riding. Normally you need to put the force to your fingers to control the throttle. With this throttle rocker, all you need to do is using your palm, and get the fingers free.
I have this for my VFR800. It's good as well.

    Hope that helps.

Yea, I've got a Throttle Rocker, works good. Would sometimes like to take hand completely off throttle. Thanks!

I use the NEP throttle lock on both my bikes and have been very happy with how they work. They have several different models but you want to make sure you buy the CC-2 model which is made for a single cable Yamahas since it is the only one that doesn't require any modification for use with the VFR.

I've included a link below where you can buy one for $18.

    California Sport Touring Link.

This would be the wrong size for your bike first off. And Motorcycle Consumer News just did a review on a product that looks the same as this last month, gave it excellent reviews, although this looks like a knockoff of that product, personally I hate rewarding knockoffs if I can avoid it.

And note, it is not a cruise control, it is a throttle lock, very different animal.

Here is a pic of the throttle lock installed on my 3rd Gen (1993) and I also have the exact same one installed on my 6th Gen (2007)

You simply twist the throttle and then flip the little lever to the down position to lock the throttle.

I ordered a Nep throttle lock from Sport Touring several weeks ago. Got it two days. I ordered the dual cable type. It worked perfect without any modifications at all... I think you need the dual cable one because there is a tab that fits in between the brake and throttle cable to keep it from rotating. I don't see how the single cable type would work?
