Can anybody help me with this upgrade thought?? I think I've read a thread somewhere here that 4th gen headers and slip-on will fit on a 3rd gen no problem. What I'm really looking to find out is with this upgrade, can I now fit the 4th gen centerstand without exhaust clearance issues?? And if anybody knows, does the staintune for the 4th gen sound anything like or as good as the dual highmounts on newer VFR's?? Thanks all!!
No it won't fit. 4th gen centerstand wont fit because the frames are different. Yes header and slip on will bolt right up no problem.
Thanks for the info. I think I've also read that the 3rd gen centerstand won't clear the 4th gen collector area of the exhaust??
