    I hate all that starwars/transformer plastic.
    Just more stuff to get broken or puncture you or cut up your face.

    It is a MOTORCYCLE!!!
    Not a transformer toy for gods sake!

    How much is that headlight $1200.00???

    well the crossrunner IS being labelled as the Honda VFR800X, and also as honda's new "all around bike", so it seems to fit the VFR mantra pretty well, and honestly, it aint bad on the eyes IMO.

    A warm welcome to all the folks who are picking these bikes up, and i really hope that theyre every bit as fun to ride as they look!

    The Crossrunner is currently not my choice but it does have VFR DNA lol. I do not want one but I do respect it. In time I am sure there wil be a Crossrunner WebSite, but until then Welcome!!!

    I saw one up close in europe. it uses the same frame and suspension as a 6th gen with a 1200 stuffed in it. It definitely is a VFR !!

    Your estimate 400 cc's too high. The engine is carryover from the 6th gen VFR800.

    Sadly, Honda has forgotten that the perfect design occurs when nothing more can be taken away. This latest VFR only continues to be heavier!?!?

    Tried sitting on one? The seat/bars/pegs thing works a treat for us old b*****ds with dodgy lower backs! Not convinced yet about the looks, but it's comfortable enough & has viffer DNA, that I wish I'd waited another 3 months before ordering my beast in June this year...

    they must have confused it with the Crosstourer which I'm not sure is even in production. I remember seeing a picture of the prototype and thinking it looked pretty cool, though. Definitely going after BMW if they make that one...

    I just saw one in Korea Saturday. I believe its listed as a 750 here. I was wondering if it was an overseas only bike or if it had the same name everywhere... obviously same name.

    I too feel like it's more transformers than motorcycle, but a VFR it is. Not my preference in bikes, but I'm okay with that.

    VFR lost half of his reputation when the gear driven cam simply dissapear from his DNA, with no tech reason, but only money reason.
    I respect all the Viffers, but IMO the 5th gen was the last real VFR.
    The more strange and angulated plastics they add, and the bigger exhaust cans, simply blur little by little the original VFR filosofy.

    Yauguru - I agree that the VFR lost one of its signature attributes when they converted back to chains, but I believe the tech reasons were "weight reduction". I believe the reason that they even went with gear driven cams (GDC) in the first place was because it was a fix to the top end issues. So few bikes use GDC because they have ironed out all the issues. I don't mind that they are missing in the sixth gens and I would own one in a heartbeat if it was a good deal. But I do agree that the 5th gen is pretty much the definitive VFR.
