Hit a deer

You should go to a club race. You can tell the new riders by their pristine leathers. The experienced riders have various defects in their leathers. It adds character.

You can sew leather patches over or under the holes.

 

I rode with a guy and he was adamant about me buying leathers over textile pants. Only problem I have with leather that it might get too hot. Otherwise, I might just end up getting both

 

I have a saying..."I'd rather sweat than bleed."
