I do have to agree. With Tink. We are the state. We own the roads. We actually make the rules if and only if.. We the the populous understand the stupids we send to represent us at the state and gov capitals truley represent us. Prollum is mostof us think "they" are people thst do stuff for us. Not do stuff FOR us. They are our proxy not our govenors.

I am not sending Bear any "dirty" pictures. IMO, due to his self admission of being inadequate, I thought a couple of those "extension" sites would help him out. Poor little dude.

So who gets to be first (again) slapping up that pic of the fat guy and his SO on that John Deere/bike and probably mower rig?

That cow bell under the rider in that picture enables him to call his sow thats riding behind him to the feed coral ; )

Fool injection is standard in the 4 wheelers and even scooters now  Even the little two stroke weed eaters are doing weird things with hybrid 4 strokes that use pre-mix and have valves. Total garbage really, totally complicates things when things go Boom and dont work. Too bad you cant get a nice Fuji Wisconsin Robin lawn mower anymore. Kawasaki makes gud stuff still. U really need hydrostatic stuff? Zero turn radius? Nah...

You both are forgetting a fundamental building block of society - Rules. You cannot have anarchy if we are all going to share space on these roads.
Do you also disagree with Red Lights? How about driving on the right? What's the difference between a helmet law and those? They are both laws telling you what you can/can't do on the road.
So you are splitting hairs. Like I stated above, choose your battles, save your energy for a real issue.

As far as Bitterpil's comment above, I can't even understand what the fnck you are saying. Are you drunk?

non sequitur again. Red lights and rules for driving on one side or the other are for orderly and safe use by all. Similar to the DUI and texting laws already discussed. Helmet affects the rider as a personal decision and has nothing to do with the guy at the opposite side of the intersection in his cage. Try to keep up :)

Ok smartass, we can argue this forever (but I won't).
I will counter with the money argument again, that it DOES affect others financially.
Sign a waiver to any paid medical care, and Ride Free in the Wind for all I Care.

Over and Out on this thread. Ugh.

    Since you can't come up with anything new or original, then I'll counter with the same reply I've had to the last dozen people who've used that argument;

If it's a financial reason for imposing your will on others, then what prevents the non-riding public (a majority by the way) from saying that no one should ride motorcycles? Because helmet or not, it's proven to be far more dangerous than automobiles and it's not a necessary mode of transportation (my Honda civic has a lower cost of ownership and operation than my VFR with a better safety record).

Fat people at McDonald's drive up my health care costs far more than a couple squids do but we don't force them to get on a diet.

I won't change my opinion, and obviously neither will you. Have you written your representative? Ridden in a protest ride lately? Or do you just like to be a bitch? ;-P

BTW nice pussy. Do you fluff it daily?

My mistake for looking one last time before logging off..... Tell you what, you can be right. I'll go away. You're welcome!

so you don't have the capacity to go any deeper into the debate and answer the question?
I can't be expected to change my mind unless someone can provide a logical reason to do so. And so far no one has been able to answer how the situations are any different.
