Quality often means you have to pony up with the checkbook.

Pazzos Racing is a Canadian owned company that manufactures everything in-house and carefully sources their components.

    My kind of company.

Some people believe they have to pay more.
You do not have to pay $180.00 dollars for levers!!!

If you want quality then get FLANDERS. They have been around since 1950.
Very high quality and reliable. They make almost all of the handlebars in the world.

"manufactures everything in house" THATS what a manufacturer is.
"scources their components" =Means they get them CHEAP no matter what part of the world they have to go to.

I got mine on ebay too, from a company called v-trec in Germany. Much better quality than the knock-offs I've seen but not as pricey as Pazzos. They have a variety of colo(u)rs - short, long and adjustable styles available. Put 'v-trec' into ebay search and you should find them.

I finally broke down and bought these from M Label on Ebay. Took 3 weeks to get them (from Hong Kong) The red could have been a little brighter, but they look good. Waiting for seat to be reupholstered, then I can evaluate them on a ride

I've yet to pull the trigger and purchase any of the levers that I've looked at. All of the Ebay stuff looks "ok" and certainly look better than the stock cruiser style levers that are on the VFR....I don't even get why Honda did that. I looked at some at my local gear dealer, a retail store of cyclegear.com. They have their own brand "speed metal" that they sell for 99 bucks and "buy one, get one" so $99 for the set. They looked decent also but then they pulled the ASV's from behind the counter...All I can say is, instant wood like I was fifteen again. The fit and finish was amazing, the feel, the look even the smell was beyond compare to any I've seen. Of course at $125 each they really should be that much better than anything else. It may be a rediculous price to pay but if I have to wait three weeks to get a set of Knock offs from Hong Kong, I think I'll just start saving my pennies and wait.

    For reference:

ASV C5 & C6 series blades (AKA levers) are machined in the USA.
ASV F3 & F1 blades are forged overseas.

All the small parts are made in the USA and assembly is in the USA.

I actually have a set of black PSW Click n Roll levers for both the brake and the clutch and would be willing to sell them. I bought them a few months ago and the quality is great I just don't like that they are shorter than the stock and I am going to switch back. They were $90 each for the two levers but it is too late to return them so any reasonable offer would be cool with me.

Here is a picture of the brake lever. I can send more if anybody wants them or a link to their site.

Went for a tour of Jasper (posted on trips and events Jasper loop 2011) with the Mrs. for our anniversary. The new levers performed flawlessly. Not bad for $90.00 Cdn, and if it wasn't for Canada Post and their stupid strike, I would have got them sooner than 3 weeks.
