What is the distance from the swing arm pivot bolt to the rear axle?

Just a tape measure rough measurement would be nice.

Mine is 21-1/4 inches from the center of the swingarm bolt to the center of the rear axle. The gearing is stock and my chain adjuster is only on the 2nd hash mark as my R only has 3600 miles on it. Therefore, the wheel is pretty far forward as far as the adjustment range goes. Let me know if you need me to measure anything else.

Out of curiosity I went out and measured my 750 swing arm. I got the same 21 1/4" as stewartj239 did. I've have heard that the 750's and 1000F's had the same frame. So it would seem the same swing arm is used. Looks like the 1000R is the same also.? Interesting.

Grey - here's a link that supports what you're saying. If you haven't seen it before, then it's worth a read.

Hey thanks for the site. I knew there were a couple of different 1000's made. But not all of the or the differences. I wish they would have brought that F2F over here. That would make a nice long distance sport touring machine IMO.

It does seem that in the US, all we get are leftovers. The European bike market is way better than ours.
