The short answer is YES. The quartet harness provides a switched fused 12v power supply for your 12v socket, heated grips and GPS. The whole point of the quartet harness is so you don't have to wire accessories in manually with clunky fuseblocks.

I hacked up the 12v adapter for my Nuvi 250 to connect it to the bike.

That's the only hangup... it doesn't come with the bike. It's in the accessory catalogue.

    part number 08A30-MGE-100

Thanks, SLOav8r! I did just that when I installed my Zumo RAM/BPR mount yesterday. I ran the wire alongside the throttle cables and under the rear of the tank to the tail light. Easiest way (for me) to get the job done cleanly.
The BPR stem mount came with an OE Honda cover that already had a hole in it. Sorry, fuzzy iPhone pics.

I really like your mount. Where did you get it?

Yeah I like it too. It's all anodized and stainless steel bolts and fits in minutes. If you click on BPR in my previous post it takes you to their Dutch website. I ordered mine here in Belgium: gps.mount.be. I haven't checked but pretty sure BPR will either have a US distributor or will ship overseas themselves.
Price for the BPR was 120 euro ($172) plus shipping from gps.mount.be. The RAM cradle came with the Zumo 550.

I once asked for the price of the OE Honda mount and don't recall but I do remember I was glad I was sitting down when I heard it.

    Hope this helps.
