Fender eliminator in Ontario

Anyone use a competition werks fender eliminator kit in Ontario ? I am wondering about the legal aspect, as the plate does become harder to view from the sides.

 

I'm wondering the same thing from Alberta..

Anyone care to comment?

I have read on gtamotorcycle it can be an issue when when getting a bike safetied depending on the shop. The only ticket's I've head of being issued are for those guys that chop the fender off and mount the plate way up under the tail.

 

The one for the 5th Gen's are not available anymore...I suspect that's why.

I partially installed the fender eliminator last night.. But turns out there's only like 7inches of clearance between the exhausts - but the Alberta plates are roughly 8 inches wide..

Does anyone know how to make 8" fit into 7" without molesting the plate?
