Thanks for not takin' me up on the bike swap when we headed over the SKWY on our way to Athens!

Glad we were in a hurry.

 

Well im pulling the trigger tomorrrow and going to reserve two days at road atlanta. I have the awning to keep me out of the sun I guess ill just pack lots of water. I do need to pick up some new gloves however my other one are shot!

 

Speaking of the snake, a few of us are going to be meeting up sunday morning at 8:15, Exit 66 (Hwy 126) off I-81, Sullivan Central high school, for a shady valley run if anyone wants to join in.

 

would love to do that but can't on short notice. I've got a buddy coming down in a few weeks and he's interested in riding the Snake so might do it then. Have fun! Let us know how it is.

He is from Ireland and has had several R1's. He traded in his 2008 R1 for the 2010 Rossi Replica. He could not believe the difference in the cross-plane engine. He laid the bike down on Hwy 92 in Acworth with less than 250 miles on the bike. Like you said, he spent $2000 replacing the parts on the bike. He figures he's got the record for least number of miles on a Rossi replica before he destroyed it, an AGV helmet and a set of Yamaha leathers.

 

What was I thinking...... 4th of July weekend I'm going to Lake Lanier with my wife!
Her brother has a house on the lake and we're takin the boat up there.
