    Im Thinking Of Selling My 97 Vfr , Im Hoping To Get Some Advice From Someone On What Is A Fair Price To Ask . Its Got 9000 Miles And Is A Stock Bike Except For A Pipe . It Has A Small Scratch On The Rear Seat Clowl .im Selling It Becouse I Think Its Time For Me To Move Up To A St1300 , Im Looking For A Bit More Comfort In My Older Age . Any Thought Would Help , Thanks Jamie

    well, you can look in the classifieds here, look at kbb.com and nada.com and that should give you a ballpark range.

    My guess would be in the $4000-$4500 range and negotiate from there...

    Depends on time of year but...

    ...I know that I paid $4450 for my 2004 VFR with the Honda panniers. It had 14k miles.

    Yeah, the year you sell it in has a lot to do with it. So does the season. If it's riding season in an area the bike will sell for more. After riding season, bikes are really much cheaper in price.

    I was trying to say that if I paid I paid $4450 for my 2004 VFR 800 in April this year. Am not sure that a much older bike without panniers would be worth as much to someone?

    Certainly not in 2011. But back in 2006 when the guy asked the question he could probably get that.
