Installation costs? we don't need no stinking installation costs! learning your way through doing maintenance/mods yourself is 3/4 the fun here!
I have been fixing anything i could get my hands on since i was 10 so i never include labor in my calculations. It is a stress-relief for me to wrench on my bike and alot cheaper than therapy. Plus it increases my knowledge of how it works and gives me satisfaction in a job well-done. My mod list is short and a few I wouldn't even consider a mod at all: TBR full exhaust and re-jet - more a performance upgrade than a mod Forks 10mm up in trees - suspension tweak Silverstar H4 - Its a mod because i slotted the notches in the headlight holes so i can use regular H4s or the Honda variety 929 rear shock - definitely a mod as it was not designed for the VFR, plus i have to modify parts to make it work Fenderectomy - mod because i didn't use a kit, i used a Sawzall  Amber rear running lights - mod because i rewired the tail harness so the turn signals use 1157 bulbs instead of 1156s 200th post - WooHoo!
