Front Exhaust Down Pipe Sheared - What are my options?

    While I hope you get it all sorted out, Tyler, I wonder if you can backtrack into a reason this is happening. I'd be curious. There's plenty of comments about about wet, salt, etc. that would contribute, but considering the year of your bike, its a really odd problem to have - especially with the extent of damage.

    Is it really just your riding conditions, or something else that caused this to happen so quickly and severely?

    Is it really that unusual for a 10 year old bike that has done 36,000 miles in the UK to have failed in this way!?

    Well at least one other post above suggests it's a common fault, so I dare say my new stainless pipes should outlast many other parts on this bike!

    in the UK you're close to the sea usually, its often damp or very wet, and rust/corrosion are HUGE issues.
