Hey have you heard the one about the guy who was popping a wheely on a 85 vfr 500 and foot slipped off the rear break peg as he was headding towards the parked car and curb. Well maybe 20 years ago..

 

Has anyone ridden in such hot weather that their helmet melted to the shape of the side pipe as it was on the helmet holder, and the explosion of butterflies and nats on your face and body cooled you off as their guts evaporated on impact.

No, I had one 16 years ago. It was a 500 with 85mm carbs. I rode it as a main form of transportation for 4 years and put 72k miles on it.

I just sold my quads, ds650 baja and warrior 350 with mods. I had been riding the wheels off these for the past 5 years. I raced bmx in highschool and still scat board now and then when I walk the dog.

Well again, welcome aboard. I had been checking this site out for sometime before I joined. Everyone seems really nice and there is alot of good information in the forums.

Stopped riding street bikes, got into dirt quadding, dunes, mountainbiking, no one on the same schedule to get together with and the family grew up and into different things so I sold them and have my sexy red sport touring bike.

 

I have inlaws in Hotchkiss Colorado and I want to plan on going riding up there with a group. The mountain roads around uray and telluride are awsome.

 

I am going to Palisades, CO this week with my wife and almost 8 month old child. I've never been to CO, and I think I am going to be frothing at the mouth with all the corners!

If you like ice fishing, right now at mira monie they are pulling in 3-5lbders.

 

I know alot areas up there to go fishing but only a few in the winter to go ice.fishing. Here is one my brother inlaw sent me from salt lake city, I don't know where the lake is, but think it is in Utah

 

I'm probabily going to get banned for not talking about vfr's but I think you need to have other things to talk about which gets you on you bike and want to enjoy the ride there. p.s. Hotchkiss is a 623 mile treck from door to door. Lizzard head pass is around 14k feet and is breath taking. Roads are awsome and you have to watch out for yellow snow, and ELK bigger that a goldwing.
