Major thanks once again to Reg and Terri for hosting the bash of the year! I haven't had so much fun since I don't know when. Thanks to everyone who came to ride and hang out as well. I made it home from SoCal a couple hours ago, and all in one piece to boot! I'm already looking forward to next year.

It needs a little set up so here's the back story. Brian (slovfr) and i were a couple minutes behind everyone leaving the gas station/lunch spot. We ran a quick pace to catch up, only to run into Reg. coming back to check on us and meeting us at the intersection across from the little market where we stopped early on in the day. Reg says to me...." hey, you wanna make a video ?" I say..... "sure" Reg says, and we'll film running up thru everyone, but we'll have to go like hell to catch the group." I say "okay"

/me needs a gopro someday. Not that I would be the next ghostrider or anything, but damn what a cool device!

@everyone else - I was for sure that there was more footage of us taking some turns halfway thru the day, but I don't know who parked and took said footage, as I was doing my best to look at where I wanted to go, rather then looking at whoever was parked with a camera. Anyone know what I am talking about? My first day of hanging off the bike with head out and knee down and now I am looking to see what the hell I was doing right and what I was doing wrong... a picture will let the big kids offer me some advice I'll bet.

 

well here is my little bit of video...I didn't have a tripod to stick it up on the hill somewhere so it sat on my tank bag.. you guys came thru in three distinct groups but there are only two videos... I thought my camera guy was gonna just let it run till everybody went by....... oh well here they are... if you line up the video and the stills that will tell you what order you all are in....

Drewl Update.he is leaving Bakersfield on his way home........

 

I am pretty sure that drewls bike could fall down catch fire then explode. He still wouldn't give it to anybody.
