So took my first actual ride on my "new to me" 91 vfr750f. And WOW! What power! I should say before I go on this is the biggest bike I have owned, my previous bike was a 91 fzr 600. The viffer is un-matched to that 600. I was kinda nervous and scared to try WOT due to it's power (also needing to replace a BAD front tire and fork seals). But I can say that I am already falling in love with this bike and I haven't even been able to ride it more than 20 miles on it :). Not to mention the looks people have with the sound (I have a micron pipe and k&n and mabey a jet kit idk for sure) and the compliments when I tell them what bike I have. I can't stop talking about my bike. Glad to share my enthusiasm with fellow Vfr owners. Sorry in advance for questions I have if I can't find the answer in previous posts or somewhere else. I just like to know the most of something I own and am passionate about.

Welcome to the VFR (Very Fine Ride) I have owned VFR's since '93 and many other bikes as well. Bikes come and go but the the staple in the stable is the VFR. IMHO it is the best all around bike ever built. It's not the lightest or the quickest but you have to love the electric smooth torque and handling, not to mention the reliabilty and everlasting love for these machines. Everywhere I go I get compliments about my '94 and I wouldn't trade it for anything. I'll ride this bike until they outlaw gasoline! Then I'll probably make my own and go for midnight rides. BTW you can ride the dog**** out of it and it will keep on ticking!

Finally got her cleaned up and got some pics of her as clean as i could get her (meaning taking a toothbrush and some degreaser to every part of her, swing arm, shock, calipers, EVERYTHING). Then it started raining so couldn't go show her off to anybody except for here lol. What do you guys think?

Same goes for me, bought my VFR few months back and I was in love with it after first ride, I had CBR600F1 before it but VFR is way better :))
Like that black-red seat on your machine, it fits nice with rest of bike, you dont need back seat cowl :)

I think the frame design on the 3rd generation looks very high tech!

I also like the non-black wheels. Great looking machinery ~

Very nice bike. Where did you get the clear turn signals? I've been looking for some and can't find them.

The clear turn signals are from Thurn Motorsports in Germany. They weren't cheap at almost $200 for both the front and rear signals including shipping. I chose the smoke colored lenses over the clear which are also available for the same price. So far I've had no luck locating an aftermarket tinted rear brake lamp lens since it is illegal in many states to have anything other than red.

    Fork Seals & Front Tire

Welcome to the best all around bike ever made = VFR .

IMPORTANT > change that front fork seal do NOT ride thru any twist'ies or sharp turns at what would other wise be ' normal' speed with a bad seal and a worn front tire.

Change the front tire to brand new ( not good looking used ) even if Your low on cash then wait until You have the bucks to do it right. I have seen to many young guys buy used tires and keep running on bad seals and wonder why the bike handles like crap and / or they bring them in wearing a cast 9 arm or leg ) with a rash'ed up crashed bike !

If one out of the two fork seals are blown / leaking it will cause the bike to kind of fight itself coming in and out of turns which is NOT good. ad a worn out front tire and You have a bike that is crippled from being a safe and confident handling bike. You hit a pot hole with 1 blown fork seal and the bike could jerk so violently as to high side You ! with 2 blown seals it will defiantly make your nut's unhappy, lol.

Once You change the seals and get new front rubber ( match the brand and model of the rear tire to the front ) THEN You will notice the bike rolls smooth, it turns into turns intuitively and back out at your slightest imput's.

While You are at it have the head stem bearing checked , replaced and / or re-packed in grease and torched to spec. Do Your front brake pads while You are at it, ANY fork fluid that has leaked onto the front pad's is dad news and could cause the brakes to fade out all together 'or' lock up of a sudden in a hard stop. Anyways isn't t cool that Your VFR cool it sounds like a V8 flat track race car, it looks like a mild version of a Ducati and runs like a Swiss watch :)
