SoCal to Cabo San Lucas - late May/June?

I was planning to do it in late May or early June with a friend, but he just dropped out of this, his wifey did not approve. Anybody interested in doing this? Or perhaps anyone has done it before......any thoughts, ideas, advice?
Any input will be appreciated.

Scubalong - first or second week of June would be great, but I'm flexible, I would not mind going even in late May. I also prefer when it's not too hot. Let's talk about it.

Can we hold off till fall...? May is SLO gathering trip and Jun is my wedding and end of Jun is family vacation. I don't think she will be happy if I told her I will be in Mexico.

 

Scubalong would make great company. Maybe you guys can hook up with Seal Team 6 in San Diego. I hear they do wonders with bad guys..

Just went up to LA for a couple of days...hit some 90 deg temps....you guys have a point, it might be too hot for comfort in baja in June. So yeah, let's push it to fall then. I'd dying to go on a trip though, so I might be game for the SLO gathering then...if there is still room? reg?

Hola Raul! Los gringos and the Asian vato are heading el norte for camping and eating those boxes of mac and cheese mixed with sardines instead of real macho food. Best from Baja amigo.

Have to get a passport and finish recovering from this last surgery, first. Wasn't getting any closer to riding with re-hab, so Doc took my scaphoid, lunate, and triquetrum. Now, I'm back in a cast until the end of the month. (08/29/11) But then he's going to let me wear a hard, removable splint so that I can start swimming and ease back into riding again... When are you planning on leaving? :redface:
