I have been riding on Pilot Road ct2's for over 3000 miles now after removing the very silppery/hard stock buns . I liked these tires (ct2's) very much and have never had an "Oh Crap Moment" on them. I have ridden them to the edge but I always feel like they need to be turned twice in a turn. Start turn then turn again to get over. They show very little wear but I have my 1st track day at Mid-Ohio June 6th so after reading some posts and getting some advice (thanks Havcar). I installed some Metzler M3's... After my second 50 mile loop this week that I often do, I decided ..I love these things! Havcar you were right, I'll never go back to sport/touring tires. The M3's stick like glue, turn quickly and adjust mid corner if I make a mistake without issue. They make turns feel "lighter" or easier. I even think they soften road bumps a little more. I feel much more confident on these which = more fun...Only one problem, I leaned as far as I normally do on my route and came home with 1" chicken strips. I have a lot to learn and hope my track day will help.
