I'll be in Mission Viejo on Wed night. Riding North via the Rock Store and Topanga canyon on Thurs... If you make it out, I'll wait for you since I have no schedule on Thurs. Just show up at R3 before Friday.

I know them thar hills better than any one. Topanga Cyn to Fernwood Dr to Saddle Peak to Stunt Rd to Mullholland (Rock Store) to Kanan Cyn to Latigo back down to PCH then up to Camarillo/Ventura area to get back on the 101. Maybe all the Southerners could pick a time that works for everybody, meet up at Sunset & PCH (76 gas station), and I could take you guys on a little tour through my back yard (Santa Monica Mtns, including the Rock Store) After that, there's another little side route (Hyw 154) passing Lake Cachuma (a little relief from slabbing it on the 101).
btw: Anyone choosing this route, please gas up before or after the 76 station on Sunset & PCH, because there you will probably see the most expensive fuel on the entire trip. As bad if not worse than Santa Barbara...

gas is around 430 and up right now here in SB....you can find it cheaper but it takes a bit of looking....oh yeah..... 154 is a nice diversion from 101.....lately it has been crawling with the Po -Po......and the over abundance of cars ....

 

I shall have a relaxing cruise along Hwy 40 from Northern Arizona across Central Cali. I plan to be there Thurs afternoon/evening.

 

I don't think I have class on friday so I will take a leisurely stroll up the freeway. If I have class I will be leaving here around 2ish...should arrive around pre supper/beer thirty...

 

I am going to drink beer all weekend in my garage while watching you fools on the live feed. And none of you will ever know what I am saying about you either.:chaingun::blabla::gossip::laugh::laugh::laugh:

1.6miles / 2 minutes South of Hwy 1 (Pacific Coast Hwy) and Hwy 27 (Topanga Canyon Blvd).

Directions from the East:
Take the 10 West all the way till it ends at PCH. Go North on PCH

Directions from the South:
405 North to Sunset Blvd. Go West till Sunset Blvd. ends at PCH (nicer)
OR
405 North to 10 West to PCH North (faster)
