Well, that was easy. Just had to put caps back on the plugs, then the new coils fit just right. They stick up a bit, but that lets me make a bracket for them. I'll just tack some aluminum to the cam cover and put a bolt through it. Heading to the junkyard this weekend to find pigtails for the three wire connector.

Just have to pull the rubber grommet down and they work just fine.

The wiring diagrams simply show another ground on the direct fire COPs. So I got a set coming. Gotta make a bracket to hold em down, and try to track down the wiring end, or just stick a crimp on connector into it.

I'll let you know how it goes.

If it doesnt work, then I'll make it work, and then post up for others that might want to do the same thing. Figured the COPs would give better spark when it gets boosted, and clean up the engine area.

There are plenty of pictures. I regularly update my build page on Facebook. I am also looking to make my own website for the shop, which will include the trike.

Hope the tail piece gets there in one piece for you.

Just got em in today. They fit and everything, just stick up a little high. Looks like it will be an easy fix and mount. Running to the junkyard this weekend to find pigtails of the connector that I need. Pics coming.
