Hey everyone, I'm Mike and last week I picked up my pristine, bone stock 2001 VFR in the fastest color red. Got the bike for what I thought was a steal and it is in as close to showroom condition as an 01 can get. Anyway, been poking around some, and thought I'd introduce myself...here's a pic...
another ATL viffer, there is a good few on this site. check out the SE-G2G thread for details on a bunch of us heading to NC for several days at the end of the month. its our 3rd G2G. i think at least a dozen of us are planning to attend. good gang, lottza VFR love, great riding, cold beer and tall tales. im in NW-ATL, near kennesaw.
Welcome aboard from Johns Creek! As mentioned we will be having a little get together at the end of the month and riding some of the best roads in the U.S WOOT WOOT!!!. How much riding experience do you have? Not trying to be mean but if you are new to riding you probably don't want to mess with the roads we'll be railin. Rollin
I'm quite familiar with the johns creek area as my folks live there and I work at exit 9. I started riding 3 years ago but missed a year while deployed to Afghanistan. I have no misconceptions about what my limits are and I'm not wreckless on behalf of my ego.
If you don't have plans you should consider joining us for our little trip. There are at least 4 or 5 of us from the Atlanta area that will be headed to NC on the 27-29th. Grab a couple of cigars and join us at the Kickstand Lodge! They have everything you would ever need (including tents) so you really only need to bring a change of clothes and your Viffer !! Rollin
Sounds like a blast but I'll be in Texas that weekend for my brother in laws graduation from air force basic.
