    It seems pretty close to me! My VFR is waiting for new tires and plugs even as we speak. Scratch is getting long in the tooth at them moment. She'll polish up alright, though.

    I just got a promotion. I have been given my schedule through the end of June. I have meetings, conferences, and classes to attend.
    I informed then I would not be available for 5 days in the middle of May. There were no objections.

    Reg, how late can we order the shirts? I am still figuring out how much I make now.

    I am making a tiny bit more now. The actual position is not budgeted until July 1. They have not even decided on the details yet, so I have no idea what it will look like.
    It is a full time position, but they can not tell me if it will be middle-management or middle/upper-management. The final pay will of course depend on that determination.

    I definitely won't be able to make it this year. :(

    I was reminded that we have an annual fund raiser for the local animal shelter on the 14th, and since they can't do it without us....

    Dang it!

    ... but my VFKR arrived this morning, and that is definitely a positive!

    ... and tomorrow we're expecting more snow. :(

    So I got another order from Crusty. I'm holding putting his order in until we get a few more to take the cost over $100 for the free shipping. I'll have the last batch all shipped here to be picked up at the BBQ. So if you are planning on getting a shirt, let me know in the next 2 weeks. I'll order the last batch all together around the beginning of May. You'll still be able to order after that, but you'll have to get them shipped to your own place and you may or may not get them in time for the BBQ. I realize that the process was kind of a PIA this year, but it's always like that on the first go round. Next year, I expect to get a design and have them done locally and set up a paypal store or something and then the cost should come down a bit.
