Damn! That really makes me miss my RC... What a perfect motorcycle the RC51 is. I paid $5k for my 2003 with 6000 miles. Then the gravel gremilns took her from me 9 short months later. I will own one again!
Wonder why a person would put a "fresh" coat of "Chevy white" paint on a Hayden edition RVT just before a sale. No doubt, there are many possible reasons; none good.
The cop in the helicopter was using a stop watch to determine the speed of two motorcycles at once. According to his math the RC was going a little over 200 mph. The RC is fast but not that fast. It would have to be HEAVILY modified to reach that speed if it could at all. There's an article somewhere that explains the story.
What he needed to do was powder coat his wheels the same color as the bike and have that euro look .... But why would you powder coat a nicky hayden silver frame black ! And he will need to drop that price for sure !
