I've got some extra fairings! Dont miss this oportunity because these things almost never come up for sale.

I'll take $160 shipping included. They are in good shape with no major damage. I took a pic of the notch cut out for the kickstand. Who ever did it obviously did not own a Dremel. They wil need to be painted

They are not that hard to find. See............... Are yours Lockhart like these? Sure look the same. I've been thinking of selling these also. Let me know how you make out. I'd be interested in how many would like a set. These came off a 83 750.

I'd say rare but not impossible. I have a feeling that half the reason aftermarket parts are rare (other than limited production) is that a lot of interceptors are rotting in junkyards. I was surpised how many junkyards had aftermarket exhausts etc. Even though they follow that up with "it has some rust holes and big dents"

Yes they are too hard to find! Sure there might be a few among VF lovers but how about the open market?

Any aftermarket part for a bike only made for 3 years 25 years ago is hard to find.

Im not sure if they are Lockhart or not but they look exactly like yours so I would say they are Lockhart but dont quote me on that.

If no one on here buys them in the next week or so I'll throw them on Ebay and they will for sure sell. Weather or not the buyer actually pays for them is a different story!

Grey - I dont know this for sure but I would imagine it might be a little harder to sell a painted set like that since it would not go along with a factory paint scheme. Mine just need a little sanding and they would be ready for primer but sanding down a painted set would be more labor intensive and cost more to paint due to that.

Actually mine match the factory scheme very nice. That's why my friend bought them. He could just put them on and it looked stock. Long story how I ended up with them 20yrs later.

If I was in the market for a set I'd buy the Painted set Knowing that they were most likely painted by lockhart .. primer hides body work

    That's the right idea.

I also have a lockhart fairing that is painted to match my scheme. If it didn't match I'd probably have the shitty paint issues worked out but I don't want to go through the trouble since it matches.

When it comes to some aftermarket VF fairings.. as long as the body work, if any, is in fact hidden then its all good as far as im concerned. If it were a tank or any of the stock bodywork well that would be a different story.

Anyways, im not trying to start a debate... I just want to sell someone my fairings.

I'll have them for a bit because I've already reached my $500 a month selling limit on Ebay for March. 100% Positive that will fit an '84 700f. They will fit all '83-'85 VF F models except the 500. I took them off of an '85 700f
