    Per Greg White's FaceBook page:

    "Greg White
Tomorrow at Noon Eastern time the AMA Pro Racing Daytona 200 will air on SPEED. It will be a 2.5 hour edited version with the Start, some red flag stuff and the last 15 laps. SPEED is cutting 1 hour because we covered a total 3.5 hours of the scheduled 2.5 hours. Should be a good show. Just FYI.

You mean: "...Pegram TOOK OUT his own guy...", cause it was Larry who lost the front, overcooking it into that corner on cold tires... He even got up and patted himself on his chest, meaning "Yeah, my fault, sorry..." Which was a nice gesture...

Aww, dude, don't start listening to me now; and worse yet, don't ever say I'm right! I'll get a big head, think I know shit, and tell everyone... Oh wait, I already do that...

Oh well, I don't even listen to myself; some of the time I'm right, most of the time I'm just full of thermally charged oxygen/nitrogen gas, or male bovine feces (which sometimes hits the oscillating air device).

I wish I could say you were mistaken, but the fact is Mr. Pegram boneheaded, I recall now his gesture to his teammate. I need to stop posting after three drinks and passing out on park benches.

By the way, lost in our discussion, is the point that all the work Duc was doing to rebuild the GP11 for Rossi, hasn't actually been carried out:

So at this point, Rossi is riding fundamentally the same bike that Casey got off of... Now, having watched Rossi for his entire career in the big leagues, I have a sneaky suspicion that he may just be doing that, out of pride. I think Rossi has been stung by the criticism that Duc would change the bike for him, and "poor Casey" could never get Duc to listen. I also think he wants to cement his place in history; if he tames the unruly beast that Casey & Nicky, two former world champs, have struggled so on, he'd come off looking even more super-human. I wouldn't put it past Rossi to even be sandbagging during these tests and using his shoulder as an excuse.

So, if it all goes badly early on, he can say "my shoulder hasn't healed enough, and we didn't get enough testing.", then put in the new parts during mid-season testing, and try to salvage the season. If it goes better than expected, he comes off looking like a God... No lose proposition.

Rossispeak. Stoner won three consecutive races at Qatar from 2007-2009 on the Ducati, he also had an off while leading last years race. Rossi appears to have quite the struggle to even see the top 5. I'm hoping to see the dust settle with two Hondas (27 & 26) and a Yamaha (11) on the box at Qatar.

The current odds at Bwin have it Stoner, Pedrosa, Lorenzo. FP1 set to go Thursday night!

I've got some money ($100) on Stoner at 2/1 for the overall, and another $100 on Pedrosa at 7/1 for the overall. I'm feeling pretty confident that the bets will either wash, or if Dani can pull it out, win enough for some Delkivic's and a new pair of shoes. Barring any oddities, I don't think anyone else has a chance.

In Losail, my head has it like this - but I'll be pulling for Pedrosa and hoping Spies manages to podium with Lorenzo suffering a mechanical failure:

    1. Stoner
    2. Pedrosa
    3. Lorentho
    4. Davi
    5. Spies
    6. Aoyama
    7. Rossi

^^ If you're reffering to my head as handicapper, then it's definitely in the toilet. I tried Sky Bet for this season, but I got better odds on Stoner and Pedrosa than what's available now; currently Stoner is at 7/4 with Pedrosa at 7/2. Good news for any remaining diehards that believe Rossi can do it on the Duc - I believe he was at 2/1 before any testing occured, and is now at 9/2.

Good Luck! Two hundred of my bucks serves me better at a poker table. Too many variables involved for betting on bike races for me.

I am going Honda all the way. I expect to see any combo of the Stoner/Pedrosa team on the podium many times this season.

After watching FP1 from Qatar, it's pretty obvious the Hondas are the best machine right now. Spies was able to click off some good laps and was more consistent than Lorenzo. Stoner is the class of the field without a doubt, from lap 3 on his times were consistently in the low 1:56's to mid 1:55's. Dani was fast early but seemed to lose his way as the session wore on, possibly due to adjustments not going as they had hoped. Simoncelli and Davizioso were also bouncing in and out of the top 5 all session.

Isnt it uncanny that the sole Suzuki rider breaks his leg and Hopkins (the designated back up rider who received industry press for this news), will now fill the gap ?
He also test rode the bike at Losail.

I wonder if someone loosened a bolt or two on the Rizla bike?
