    Greetings & salutations
I am fasterspider of Studio City, Ca, my real name is Ray and you doesn't has to call me johnson.
I picked up a brand new VFR1200F June 13th 2010 from Honda of North Hollywood.
I love the bike, I have owned nothing like it previously. Not even my sold 2001 CBR1100XX comes close to the sepremacy of the VFR1200F even if it is restricted in 1st & 2nd gears.
    Anyway, here she is.

She has a little over 4000 miles on her now and she is giving me problems stuttering then stalling out completely.
Dealer has no clue because it will not repoduce the issue for them and I only know of one other 7th gen having any kind of similar issue, he is in San Jose.
9 times it has happened to me since last August, 3 times on the road, one of which was at 75mph in traffic on the 101 here in the Valley.
It's a fine "how do you do?" but, there it is.
Welcome to your site, I hope you all have a nice day, I will try to but, it is gonna be a rough day because I am dropping my VFR off to Zero Gravity so they can make a new Double Bubble, extended clear and stock replacement wind screens using my bike as the mold.
She'll be gone for two weeks.

    Well...
    Congrats on thew new bike.
    Welcome to the site.
Sorry to hear about the problems, but I cannot offer assistance.
Not that I own the same model, but I'd be curious to hear your opinion of the Corbin versus stock.

The Plank came off my VFR1200F as soon as Corbin could make and ship me a new seat, it took 4 weeks after I got the bike until the new Corbin showed up at my door.
Corbin did not have a bike to model a seat from yet when I bought my VFR June 13th last year and I had to wait until someone by Hollister could bring a bike bye to design seats from.
Mine is the Canyon & Lady and it is extremely comfortable, I will not sit on a Plank long at all. I hate OEM Honda seats, always did because I have no ass to speak of and need all the assistance I can get.
Corbin saddles offer that cushion I need and the Corbin saddle on my VFR is the most comfortable seat I have owned from them yet.
I have a Corbin Canyon & Lady on my 79 CBX also.
