Can you post up some pics of the little bastard? From the back side after it has been disassembled and of the rollers?

Inspect the rollers for dents and replace the small springs. Be sure to use a dab of blue locktite on the 3 bolts cuz i've seen cases where they backed out.

The rollers have a light spring that push them oot, you really need to take it apart and inspect it.

Get the springs from Honda only !! I was surprized when i needed some for a VTR 250 project that they were easily available and CHEAP !

Make sure that the small plungers that contain the springs move easily in their holes and are not sticking.

I assume if not installed correctly it can be out of time looks as if the two little magnetic pic ups serv as a like a hall effect sensor aka crankshaft position sensor and those litte marke look like timing marks im kinda a retard so step by step is best for me thanx

No problem as the rotor will only go on one way since there's an alignment groove.

Ok so now the bike wont start I put the clutch from ebay direcly on the bike replaced the oil with mobile one 10/40 racing 4 T. Bike wont start I got fuel and fire. Discovered thatbi have been running the whole time on three cylinders all of them have been firing except no.2. But that is not my problem a problem never the less. Holy shot if it was standing a couple little wheelies and running decent wonder how good it will when all is firing anyway. Did I do something wrong it hickups out the carb bank I know I couldn't be out of time but. What about there being a difference in the clutch housings this clutch came from the mid west? ????? Help please

Take a VERY close look and compare all details of the replacement with the original piece.

I doubt there are any significant differences that might change timing.

Sometimes the pulse generator wires can get damaged, so do a reesistance check at the coupler as detailed in FSM.

I discovered--much to my surprise--that the CDI can have a failure that causes only one cylinder to not get spark.

You need to do resistance tests on both sides of the coil, and you could switch them around for testing too.
