How long have you guys waited for fairing from VFR Chuck?

I sent him an email requesting a response within a week or else I will be asking for funds back from paypal.
The clock is ticking.

 

It took me the better part of 2 months to finally get a hold of him. Calls, emails, PM's all went unanswered. I had to contact a family member to get his home number (don't ask me, I don't have it anymore). Paypal wouldn't refund because its over 30 days, even if it is an ebay deal. They were no help, ebay was no help. I just had to wait.

He sure doesn't work fast, and his profesionalism is lacking, but he does good work when he actually decides to finish.

 

This dude could die and nobody would know it for six months at the rate he does things..LOL

Send him money? LOL

Yeah, I saw that. He said he would ship because he said he had 5 sets ready.
He asked for the paypal confirmation number for the fourth time.

Ugh.

 

Well, he finally sent the front cowl, I thought this day would never arrive.
Now all he needs to do is send everything else body-wise and I will finally be happy.

I would fully recommend doing the feebay route with this guy, at least then you have a somewhat of a hammer to flog him with if he doesn't get you your stuff in a decent timeframe.

 

I'm glad you got that at least. If someone recommended a seller to me that took that long to deliver, with no response to calls or emails and it was a guessing game as to when/if my parts would arrive, I would not be quick to take any of their advice again.

 

Alright, after numerous emails sent since my last post if I don't hear back from him by the end of the week I will consider this a broken contract and request all my payment be returned, this is bullshit, I don't care if he has another job or whatever sad sack story exists.

I paid him in full in good faith LAST APRIL and I have yet to receive the tail section, tail cowl cover and the fairing stays.

He has items on feebay so he can ship my shit to me, i have had enough of this crap.

Caveat emptor with VFR Chuck guys, he takes for fucking ever to deliver and never responds to emails.

 

Maybe VFR Chica knows him too and can help.

 

I ended up having to call his father just to get an alternate number for Chuck
