I am planning a one or more likely two day trip from the Phoenix area down to Tombstone and Bisbee and back in a loop through the Sierra vista or Wilcox area. I'm looking for pointers from anyone who has rode this area (route, things to see, good eats, etc) or who wants to join in. This will be in the next two weeks.

I've wanted to get back down there to ride 191 between Alpine & Clifton. We made it to Alpine a couple years ago but had to turn back due to time constraints. Should have just ridden it and blew off our schedule.

If you go through Tucson, take a ride up to Mt. Lemmon.

Gads! I liked the ride but it took me 2hrs to get to the start. Mt Lemon is kinda far from I10.

Hello. Been awhile but 77/177 south from 60 was always a nice alternative to droning down 10. Around Tucson there is gates pass road/kinney/golden gate road by az-sonora desert museum and through saguaro park west on the west side of town.83 down to sonoita and or patagonia is nice. Then 82 to 80 to bisbee. And as has already been mentioned...191 to alpine is absolutely not to be missed if snow conditions and ice are not a problem right now. In Alaska I haven't been keeping track of the Arizona weather! Have fun and ride safe.

Might still be a little early in the year for the 191 ride.
