Hahahaha, I know they say it's close, but it would be very funny to think that the team with the "champ", couldn't get sponsorship...

 

Why would you think that's funny?

With teams losing their sponsorship and being forced to drop out of racing almost daily, a comment like that doesn't seem very reasonable if you are a race fan.

You're right, from the bigger, serious picture of the Global Economic meltdown, and the affect it has had on motorcycle racing sponsorship, among a million other impacts. Even though I am not a Yamaha fan, it is bad for racing in general.

But, I was mostly speaking in a sarcastic, mean-spirited fashion with relation to Lorenzo, cause I can't stand the guy. And Yamaha cause I can't stand the brand. "If it had to happen to someone, couldn't have happened to a better team/rider".

Spies I like, so I take no pleasure in seeing him put in a bad place. But, Lorenzo, he has a piss-poor attitude, like you often do.

At the end of the day, since I know they are going to eventually get sponsorship, it's only a matter of who and when, my comment is more about the irony of the championship team being the one team with the longest standing sponsorship issue.

So, since they're not going to drop out, I think it's funny.

 

Thank you for comparing my personality traits to that of Lorenzo's, I have to say that's quite a compliment, even if it's coming from someone who doesn't know dick about, nor has met, either one of us.

IMO not a good move by Suzuki

 

I get it, Suzuki really wants out of Moto GP, but I don't understand the decision to half ass it. Being that they're obliged to participate in 2011, why not make the most of it.
