Hey Amazon, what's that white stuff messing up your wheels?

Heh heh heh... no such problems down here, even a cold winters day is +13deg C; overnight might even get to -2deg! - so year round riding is bearable. I admit that a few days at 43deg C in the last 2 weeks have been a bit warm, especially as for me it's at least jeans & an appropriate jacket. The shorts and singlet I'll save for the park, thanks.

All kidding aside, I would love to hear from any of you northerners on what limitations and special conditions the cold winters impose on your riding??

When it's cold outside, it becomes difficult to differentiate between a bad wheel bearing or one's own shivering.
Also, snow is kinda like sand on the road...only wetter.

I'm on the GTA Forum too....welcome to VFR World.

You're from Brampton...hmmm...i would have noticed a red VF500 riding around my town if there was one....and yea that exhaust is unique.

Come warmer weather we should go for a V-Four cruise! :smile:

 

This coming week promises to be riding weather in the 40s and 50s. The worst part about snow down here is that they over treat the roads and for a month after winter its like riding on a beach.

 

I hate all of you that get to ride!!! mind you though, have any of you guys snowmobiled? hmmm. Last year and this year I rode until it was -5 C but the snow just makes it impossible now.

Oh, I'm also pretty used to the leg humping, if I didn't like it, I wouldn't have shown you guys my ridiculously good looking self

Oh and I'm not 5'6" on snow, I'm edging toward 6'

Don't worry about them, we who live in snowy climates generally have the best places to ride when the season starts. Every year I see out of town bikers that have traveled hard and long, and through some lame terrain, inorder to ride in places I take for granted.

Uh....No you don't.... anyway 6 ft!!!!!!!!!! wow you must really intimidate the boys..

there is a possibility (strong) that I will be relocating to upstate new York before the winter starts next year.... since it seems that all the "old" bike are in that area we will have to doa get together before the snow flies

Football season is officially over and our Green Bay Packers are Superbowl Champs so now we're just biding our time building snowmen,having snowball fights,and making snow angels while we're waiting for riding season to begin.
