'aight, I'm caught... Drinking while wrenching, so either I wasn't paying attention or I forgot if the preload adjusters had stops on the inside of the fork tube when I changed my fork springs and seals this past weekend. Anyway, I went with the Racetech 1.0kg/1mm and my bike feels like a whole new machine. So, my question is: If I back the preload adjusters all the way out, will they stop? or will I get a forking geyser? Also, with Heli-bars there's only enough room to lower the front end about 5-6mm as opposed to the 14mm with stock clip-ons, so should I even bother?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA sorry. Since I will freely admit that I dont know because I took the forks off the bike and had the local sportbike shop mech that said he went to Racetech tech training do mine while I was working (and was too lazy), best I can do for you is recommend calling Racetech, theyre pretty good about helping people out. I adjusted mine all the way down and then backed them off to stock position just for the very reason you stated.

Now drop and give us all twenty.....I'll do the same here.

Dont have helibars, dont care for them myself, so I set mine down 12mm.....I like it a lot there. By that I mean the tubes are raised in the clamps, front end set down.

then I dont understand because the heli bars will not limit you on raising the forks in the triple clamp only lowering them.

There are a lot of funny pics out there related to "worth a thousand words" and most were related to boobs in some way.

But since you were planning on involving your daughter in this quest for computer literacy, I chose this one:

Appears that raising your tubes any further means they hit the helibars, am I correct on that one? As opposed to the stock bars, which arent in the way. Shit, I dont know, I dont have Helibars and arent interested in them.....nevermind.

Why am I here? My tinfoil for my hats comes from Bumfuck Egypt and now appears my supply may be in danger, I have so many worries.

Simple, fixed. just had to swing the banjo bolt a bit... Now I got a full 10mm. But what about the important part? Do the preload adjusters have "stops" on the inside of the fork tube cap? Stops, that keep it from turning all the way out?
