    Allright now I'm frackin confused.

1.) which light is burned out/not working
2.) if the blinker still works it dosen't mean the other filiment is still good, try swapping out for new bulb, or swap bulbs from side to side if the other is working properly
3.) if that dosen't work make sure your turn signal switch is re-centered and not full of water as Davis suggested, I have also had this problem

All U.S. model '98 to '01 5th gens. and '02 to '05 6th gens. use the exact same dual filament bulb in the front turn signal assemblies Davis.
The '06 and up U.S. model 6th gens. use a single filament 12v 21w bulb.

European model 5th and 6th gen. machines used a single filament bulb in the front turn signal assemblies.

There should be three wires going to each of your front turn signal assemblies. A Green wire,an Orange wire, and an Orange with White stripe wire on the left front side. A Green wire,a Blue wire, and a Blue with White stripe wire on the right front side.

See for yourself, these are 5th gen. U.S. and European model wire diagrams.

Methinks Bonecarver is a man in need of a service manual. Any of you dudes know of a freebies download for this guy?

IMO, he is looking for two different bulbs rather than a dual filament bulb.

Are you helping someone find a manual? A link to knowledge? Best advice I've heard from you so far. You sound so confident. You really do know it all. A clip off the old block so to speak. Good on you. You're almost on the programme.

Good luck Bonecarver....there is a lot of help in there.....sometimes you just have to get it yourself.

    Good luck

LOL! Maybe vfr2k2 needs a new bulb to replace the dim one in his Darth Vader light sabre.. He could just make the salutation "BB" and as long as he doesn't call me "dear" I'm good with that.

I don't know how you could assume that at all. You are the poster of the link to the manual. My post was directed to you. It even show your qoute. Your inaccurate quotes and lack of comprehension leave much to be desired. Please flame on. Baseless name calling suits you.

Yes, you're right, I AM the poster of the link to the manual download site. BB actually had a good idea for once so I decided to continue helping Bonecarver by posting up a link to download the manual in case he didn't know about it or allready have one.

I'm not quite sure what you are referencing when you say I have "inaccurate quotes" if you could site some examples instead of talkin out of your ass that would be helpful so I could correct them.

I am also wondering where you have picked up on my "lack of comprehension" . I belive I comprehend da Engrish just fine thank you, but again, some examples would be helpful so that I can learn from my mistakes and inprove.

Baseless name calling may suit me just fine, if fact I enjoy the hell out of it and have cultivated it into an art form, you silly booger head.

So really, what's the problem here, did I hurt you wittle feewings somehow in a previous thread. Have I pissed in your wheaties, or did I bang your wife and totally ruin her previous perception of what you had convinced her was the best time of her life???

I did help someone find a manual, YAY ME, I KNOW HOW TO FIND STUFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm soooooooooo glad you've finally heared some advice from me that you find suitable, it warms my heart and makes me feel like it's really all worth it, it sure is a good thing you're around to pat me on the back cause I sure didn't know what the hell was going on until YOU showed up. Whew, what a relief..........

I'm happy to hear that I sound condfident, I try so hard to have my condfidence come across in my posts loud and clear, it's about fuckin time someone picked up on it and had the balls to say something.

I sure am a CHIP off the ol block, didn't know you were aquainted with my father, he'd have no problems telling you that you need a glass bellybutton either.

Hmmmmm, programme, must be a Kanuk word eh.

I would also like to wish Bonecarver the best of luck in finding advise on how to repair his VFR when there are trolls like vfr2k2 shitting all over his thread, I guess if someone isn't ruining a thread enough, you just have to come on in and do it yourself eh 2k2....................

    To respond...
You seem to have taken over a post with your flames addressed to me
Against my better judgement and my apologies to the op

    Yes, you're right, … Of course…..
I AM the poster of the link to the manual download site. I knew that…the basis of my post…
BB actually had a good idea for once so …. Yes he did, other folks do have ideas, give them some credence, you may surprised that others may know almost as much as you…..
I decided to continue helping Bonecarver by posting up a link to download the manual in case he didn't know about it or allready have one….. I agreed whole heartedly,….. in fact I said “best advice I’ve heard from you so far”

I'm not quite sure what you are referencing when you say I have "inaccurate quotes" if you could site some examples…….OK,in a previous post you said that I said something which I did not say….I pointed that out in a following post….you may not have comprehended……
instead of talkin out of your ass……you needed that…….
that would be helpful so I could correct them……pardon, I can’t imagine you correcting anything…

I am also wondering where you have picked up on my "lack of comprehension" . I belive I comprehend da Engrish just fine thank you, but again, some examples would be helpful so that I can learn from my mistakes and inprove…… You’re welcome….a couple of things would be you assuming that my post referred to my dear BB and not you, another was mentioned above.
    You asked…

Baseless name calling may suit me just fine, if fact I enjoy the hell out of it and have cultivated it into an art form, you silly booger head…..in the eye of the beholder….art, not the silly booger head……based on what??? …..your first try was by far better…….

So really, what's the problem here, ….problem??, I just commented on your post, sheeez
did I hurt you wittle feewings somehow in a previous thread….Not really…you are just rude…
Have I pissed in your wheaties,…..that is was dicks try to do
or did I bang your wife and totally ruin her previous perception of what you had convinced her was the best time of her life???….really…just good taste, as low as someone can get

So what is your problem, I’ve only posted my thoughts…..

Ok, I figured it out, with no help from you regarding what you were bitching about. I mis-quoted you in a previous thread concerning fairing clips. Apparently you still have your panties in a bunch over that. I didn't look close to see if I had called you names, but I guess one way or another your wittle feewings did get hurt. I will go correct my incorrect "quote" in the other thread now so maybe you can GTF over it. Maybe in the future you should try showing some more condfidence in what you know and actually try to help someone instead of telling them to read a fucking manual, a trained monkey could have written that post.

I have no problem, I started posting in this thread to help Bonecarver. Seems a couple of my posts in this thread were exactly what other and even more senior members of this site were going to post/tell Bonecarver also. I do have great taste BTW, I ride a VFR.

As I seem to be fighting a battle of wits with an unarmed man, I will apologise to Bonecarver for trashing up his thread and stop flaming other members allthough I feel they righteously deserve it.

With dim and non-functioning bulbs at the fore, Crusty to the rescue.

All this and I sort of figured that Bonecarver may not have known about the freebies manuals in download form for his bike.

Did we talk about LEDs as replacements yet?
