Mine are still good, but at that price, maybe I will order some for replacement in the summer. They should be ready for replacement by that time. I seem to go through a set a year. And I do like these tires. I am on my second set now and have no complaints. Cept when you hit the road snakes in the rain at 120 MPH, it has an effect that is directly proportional to the tension caused by your rectal muscles.

    Nice find Scubalong,
I am just about due for a set of tyres. Wonder if the free post includes downunder.
I'm just checking a price from a Sydney tyre supplier. They will probably be double this price.
I just bought a chain and sprockets. I shopped around a little in Oz. The best I could do for a DID chain and steel sprockets was $440 + delivery.
Sprocket center in the States $229 delivered. Got it in 6 days. Unbelieveable

Michelin Tire will be introducing the new Pilot Road 3. A new improved version of the PR2 with more siping for wet weather. This story was posted on Superbikeplanet.com a day or two ago. Should be available to retailers very soon. The article said Jan. To make room for these new PR3s retailers will be blowing out the PR2.

    I'm in Oz as well.

    Check out this site:

Michelin Pilot Road 2 CT Radial Rear Motorcycle Tire | Jake Wilson

Set of Michelin Pilot Road 2 CT Radials Front & Rear cost approx $320 for the set (inclusive of $67 freight) to Australia.
Not sure if this is USA or AU dollars. With the strong Oz dollar, might even be less.
Either way, fantastic value, even when you take into account you will have to pay to get them fitted & balanced.

    Go for it!

I am on my second Pilot Road rear. Quite happy with them. I am convinced the front will get through another rear.

I'll be getting my next set of tires at long beach motorsports. They have the new pilot road 3's for $134 rear and $123 front I believe. My jaw dropped.
