Just Crashed my new 08 VFR

When I got my new 07 the first thing I did was was mount a set of PPR2's. The stock tires don't grip well, add cold streets and maybe a little slick too and over you go. I was able too sell the stock tires on Ebay for $100. Glad I did!

 

Some harleydoods put that much on their Harleys in just chrome shit.

 

Otherwise known as magnesium chloride, or mag chlor. Although scientifically speaking, your terminology is more appropriate. The stuff is invisible and nearly as slick as ice in a corner, at least on two wheels.

 

Jeezz be happy your not like the poor bastage that I saw today at the local motorcycle dealer. He had his lower leg in three Halos/with rods and bolts going directly into his shin. Broken tibia and fibia. He was riding a VTX 1800 so who knows how great a rider he was but pity his re-cupe time.

 

VFR Repaired!

Well the bike is repaired. Put the new HeliBars on her and she is getting a set of Pirelli Angel STs on her today and then she comes home.

I can't ride for about 8 weeks b/c of hand surgery...fixing my arthritic thumb joint.

Fifty yards from a turn at a light? Goose it a little too much? Did that light resemble an NHRA drag light? I dont know soldier, glad your ok, but youd better drop and give me fifty. HEHE.

 

Just like new again. So how many miles are on it right now? It looks like good timing with the surgery. You should be healed and ready to go by spring. I bet that was the plan.

 

Man you gotta be itching to ride I get crazy after a week of snow on the ground and no riding the dirt bike only sedates me for a while lol

It's not discussed publicly, but the '08 model also has an additional 36 HP and comes with a promisary note from Megan Fox to go nude marlin fishing in Cabo.

 

I've been to Cabo many times for Marlin fishing. This is going to be a tough call - give up my yellow '00 for an '08 in order to get Megan Fox to come along. Hmmm....

 

might want to lower tire pressure.
42 psi when cold out doesn't cut it.

 

Gear drivers are nice and all, but the fishing is worth it. Because they fight on the surface, you'll want to go during the black marlin season, otherwise you'll spend too much time hunched over. Which was no big deal for Ms. Fox, but it wasn't so pretty on my end.

 

That sucks. Sorry to hear that, but good you are ok. Cnsidering the distance you bike got of pretty cheap.
I did it last year in october, put me out of service with a broken ancle 4 months and my bike got a lot more than yours, even I was doing only 10-15 km/h. Good luck with the repair and a new season.
