    Hi
Are VFR 700 brake disks unique to this bike , or can I fit the 750 disks.
Honda part numbers are different... I think. But why would Honda not use the same disks?
    Thanks
    Roger

Hmmmm..... That's a good question Roger.

Since the bike's were supposed to be pretty much identical I woulda bet the farm that the front brake rotors would be the same too,but you're right according to my parts source info the part number for the '86 VFR700,'86 VFR700F2,and '86 VFR750 front brake rotors is 45251-KT8-000.
The part number for the '87 VFR700F2 is 45251-ML7-690.

Dunno if this info will be any help to you at all Roger but that 45251-ML7-690 brake rotor is also listed as being used on the 1987 to 1990 Honda CBR600F.

I dunno if it helps, but like Stosh said, I slapped one of those CBR front wheels on my 86 750 with stock forks and brakes and the rotor worked fine, so I say they are all interchangable.

Thanks for all the info chaps.
I had subsequently found out about the cbr 600 disks.
As for the front wheel swap, you have a 750 I have the 700, as the disks have different part numbers what is the betting that a wheel swap will not work?
