Just plain Brrrr

Yea well for some of you out there in VFR world, this is probably still a heat wave for some, that said it's still colder than I've seen here in a long time, fact now that I think about it this is the second coldest on record.





Now I can honestly say she's seen the snow..

 

And that is why my wife moved to CA, rather than me moving to WA. Well that and other reasons...

 

I was watching the news last night and they pointed to that storm you folks are having in the PNW and said something like "it will be here on Monday". You know you guys are more than welcome to keep these storms to yourselves! :biggrin:

 

To paraphrase Spike, that is why I moved to AZ from upstate NY (Plattsburgh). Though, I do miss the change of seasons and snow at Christmas.....

:smile: and just how many feet from the back wheel to the garage door? ...:wink: ..... Me, I only get as far as sitting on the bike in the garage and making noises .... LOL ..... I even refuse to open the garage door!!

Is that little door to the left for the VFR? Speaking of, where is the VFR? That would have made this photo oh so much better..

Very observant Jay and thanks for the house complements, but those trees sure do get scary on high wind days. My Winter time garage queen is parked in the little door and I've claimed that spot for my home improvement/VFR work area.

What till this summer, I hope to get all VFR riders from the PNW to my house for a big BBQ :hungry: and a spirited run for a three or four hours on DeWatto...

 

We have a change of the season, 10 months of summer changes in to 2 months of winter !! And they sell snow in a can at Walmart..

 

Now I'm just bored taking VFR shots in the snow, but hell what else was there to do other than watch football today...

I think I need to get one of those Temperature Gauges, this is all new territory for an ex Californian...

 

Good ol' Texas weather,it was 70 something on friday and now it's early sunday morning and we are in the middle of a ICE storm in FunkyTown.All I can do now is go out in the garage and listen to that awsome sounding V4 til the ice melts and I can ride again.

 

Well, I know it's not the same as what a lot of you are experiencing right now, but for us here in Phoenix it's actually pretty chilly this morning: 26 F in my part of town (North PHX). It's probably a few degrees colder up in Cave Creek - about 15 minutes north of me.

 

Hmm, what was being said here?

That was about my third try for that shot, I believe the word was Stay! LOL, I was wondering if anybody was going to catch that :lol:

 

The poodle was probably thinking, "Hurry up & take your stupid photo. I'm freezing my butt off!!"
