I see xmas trees on the side of the street already. I didn't see one at any of the places I went to on xmas Whats the world coming too. Also looks like exterior lighting was down 60 % Clark Griswold would be dissapointed.

 

Well heres my vfr. No heated blanket but it has company to talk to. 2 other bikes are in there but out of camera veiw.
And no bad mouthing the trashed garage I've been laying tile in the bathrooms over the past few weeks so the grarage was base of operations.

 

don't look now but your Viffer has a couple of growths on the sides of it.........
This one loooks like a winner to me...but thats up to the challenge originator....

 

My girl had recently some behavioral issues...
She was fast, loud and obnoxious; and had to spend some time chained to other two friends. Well, that's not exactly "free" time -or is it?

Just curious - what's that car tucked away in that picture? Looks a little like the old Datsun 280Z. (No offense if I'm wrong there!)

 

it does appear to be an old datsun 280 Z..... probably a 78?......

 

Is it the 280 Zee modle or the 280 zed? If it is the 280 Zee then it is a woman's car. The 280 Zed was built for real men

No luxurious accommodations for my VFR during the winter months Mike. She gets parked out in the garage right alongside my other bikes.

Well,to be a little more accurate,most of it does anyway. Some of it is in the basement,some of it is on the work bench,some of it is in the bead blast cabinet at work,some of it is out for paint work,some of it was sent out for anodizing,some of it is still in Germany,England,Canada,Hong Kong,Japan,Australia and various States here in the U.S. and I'm just twiddling my thumbs and waiting on Fed Ex and UPS to deliver it all to me. :lol:

 

Mmmmmm, No complaints from the warmer members either!

 

At least you have an excuse. Will try to post a photo of my garage as soon as i can find the USB cable for my phone. Thanks for the submission. Hope the tiling goes well.

Would love to see that machine once all the deliveries have been made and everything has been put back into place.

You all are close enough Yes Its a datsun Z car but the 260 model basically the same as 240 and 280 its 1974. I also use to own a 280zx as well. The paint is shot but I have built a new engine and added way to many performance parts to even remember. It was an auto and I swapped in a 5 speed and 3.90 rear end. Its one of those decade long projects. Really just needs body and paint to be finished all mechanics have been taken care of.

Okay campers as you can see from the pics of my bike I like things that are just a little bit out of the ordinary.
Your homework assignment this time around is to get a pic of your VFR parked out in front of an oddity.
What I mean here my friends is something that you wouldn't normally see everyday.
I sent along a couple of pics I took on a ride I did a while back to give you an idea of exactly what I mean.

As most of you have probably figured out by now I play the game just like everyone else does,but I play by my own rules. So I'm opening up this challenge for everyone this one time around.
The pic that you submit DOES NOT need to be a recent one,it can be ANY pic (old or new) of your VFR parked in front of an oddity.
As long as I'm breakin' rules here (my apologies to Neckutter/Cundalini) I'm just gonna go ahead and be breakin' one more. I'll be busy this coming week so you'll have till next weekend to submit your pic. I'll be picking a winner then.
This should give you boys and girls enough time to enjoy your New Years holiday (and for those of you like me who like to enjoy your New Years holiday just a little bit TOO much,some time to recover :lol and find a photo op for your pic.

Mr. Mastershake, You have a valid reason for your bikes bedroom being somewhat disorganized, as promised a pic of mine. Besides spending more and more of my "free" time burning rubber, when I'm not i seem to be exceptionally lazy. Besides my best intentions i never seem to be able to get this place sorted out.
